Daniela Velando
Maid of Honor
Daniela and Alejandra met in business school and share the struggle of not being fluent in neither Spanish nor English (can someone spell check this website!?). We are still not certain in which language we typically communicate. She was the first one to learn about Alejandra's interest in Jeremy (despite Alejandra's denial), and quickly became the fairy godmother of the relationship. We could not find a better MOH!
Natalia Parra
Bridesmaid and sister

Natalia and Alejandra go way back. The moment Natalia was born, Alejandra ceased to be an only child much to her dismay. Many fights later, they became true friends. Now they enjoy commiserating over life struggles, having to do laundry, living in a different country far from family, gaining weight after moving to the US, among others.

Gabriela Parra
Bridesmaid and sister

Gabriela is Alejandra's younger sister. The age difference is such that some people asked whether she was Alejandra's daughter when she was a baby. Most recently, Gabriela was mistaken for Jeremy and Alejandra's daughter while they were on a trip together through Europe. As annoying as that was, Gabriela and Alejandra bonded over pasta, pizza and gelato during the trip, and became closer together!

Adriana Martinez
Bridesmaid

Adriana and Alejandra have been coworkers, roommates, and friends. Adriana organized Alejandra's first ever "bachelorette party" for her 24th birthday (you will likely remember if you were there!) When together, Adriana and Alejandra enjoy reminiscing on good memories, and eating mexican food almost exclusively. At the wedding, you can find her serving shots of aguardiente for everyone!

Maria Beatriz Jimenez
Bridesmaid
Maria Beatriz is Alejandra's friend and psychologist (although not by profession). She is wise beyond her age and always has great advice. Feel free to direct any life/relationship questions to her! Maria Beatriz taught Alejandra that cats are not so bad, the real difference between pasta and noodles, and most importantly, self awareness. Which, by the way, is something that Jeremy compliments Alejandra about often!
Maria Lucia Amador
Bridesmaid
Maria Lucia (Malu/Luci) and Alejandra worked together in DC and got to experience life away from home for the first time. During those years, they developed a close friendship that has passed the test of distance and time. At the wedding, you can identify her as the one who is crying, or the one holding the bar during limbo.
Rosario Gutierrez
Bridesmaid
When Rosario met Alejandra, she was worried about Alejandra not accepting her in the group of friends they had DC. If you have met her, you know Alejandra is the one that should have been worried! Rosario made our friend family in DC bigger and better, and she will always be like family!
Joe O'Donnell
Best Man
Joe and Jeremy met in high school. They have spent much of the last 14 years commiserating about the Minnesota Timberwolves. When Joe and his wife Charlotte visited DC, Jeremy and Alejandra went out with them on their first double date ever. Not only is Joe a great Best Man for Jeremy, he is also the best suited to keep other groomsmen in line.
Drew Williams
Groomsman and Brother
Jeremy has known Drew his entire life. Jeremy wasn’t always the best big brother but is now very proud of what his little brother has become. If there is ever a zombie apocalypse, Jeremy and Alejandra are clear that the first thing they will do is find Drew. We just hope he doesn’t decide to just stay in Colombia forever.
Neal Holthus
Groomsman
Jeremy and Neal met in 8th grade math class, when Jeremy asked Neal for “help” on one of their tests. Neal and Jeremy have been classmates, teammates (football), coworkers (public works), and most importantly, friends. Neal and his wife Tanya helped introduce Alejandra to the joys of the Minnesota State fair for the first time. We hope Neal has an easier time coming back home from Colombia vs. his previous South America trips.
Jack Stroessner
Groomsman
Jack and Jeremy became friends after a computer program identified them as the most compatible pair in their high school. Along with Neal, Jeremy used to be one of Jack’s chauffeurs and is still waiting for him to return the favor. We are very excited that Jack chose Colombia for his first trip abroad!
Brad Felix
Groomsman
Jeremy met Brad through Jeremy’s mom in their freshman year dorm. Jeremy spent most of their college years preaching to Brad about the advantages of living in Minnesota over Ohio and he’s still waiting for his teaching to pay dividends. Jeremy could have not gotten through college without Brad.
Bill Felix
Groomsman
At first, Jeremy only knew Bill as Brad’s older brother who, during Jeremy's Freshman year, would buy them beer and allow them to consume it in his off-campus apartment. However, very quickly Bill became one of Jeremy’s closest friends and now they enjoy discussing far-fetched (or are they?) business investment opportunities and talking about fantasy baseball sleepers.
Luke Smith
Groomsman
Like Brad, Jeremy’s mom introduced Luke to Jeremy (Luke and Brad were freshman year roommates). Jeremy and Luke once waited in line for over 4 hours at White Castle for 10 cent hamburgers and 5 cent coffee. Since then, Jeremy and Luke have grown up (somewhat) to enjoy beer and coffee tastings in Luke's new hometown of Portland, OR.
Rozsda Williams
Dog of Honor

Rozsda is a hungarian vizsla. She hates laying on the floor and is not a fan of baths. She loves treats, hikes, sticks, and being petted constantly. Seriously, never stop petting her. But most of all, she loves mom and dad, and wishes she could be with us on this special date. Unfortunately, dad is very concerned with her safety on a plane, so she will have to miss the festivities. She will be with us in spirit!
