The following is a list of restaurants we have enjoyed over the years. Some hold a greater significance for us (our first date!), while others are just plain delicious and we can't seem to get enough of it.

Lake & Irving (American - Burger or chicken sandwich)
Origami Restaurant (Japanese - Sushi, Yakisoba Noodles)
Amazing Thailand (Thai - Pad See Yew, Cream Cheese Jalapeño Wontons)
Red Cow (Burgers - All of them)
World Street Kitchen (any of the rice bowls)
Milkjam (super unique ice cream flavors)


SOUTH MPLS:
Ramen Kazama (Ramen - Karamiso "Spicy" Ramen)
Nighthawks Diner & Bar (American - Hot dogs or Pancakes)
Quang's (Vietnamese - Beef Pho, Eggrolls...they both are cure-alls for a head cold)
Rainbow Chinese (Chinese - Eggrolls, Black Bean Fun Noodles)
Tilia (OUR FIRST DATE! - Fish Taco Torta, anything)
Martina Restaurant (BECKY'S BDAY MEAL - Argentinian Inspired - anything, it's ALL good)
Victor's 1959 Cafe (Cuban - The Cuban sandwich)
Hola Arepa (Latin Inspired - Yuca Fries, Arepas)
Pizzeria Lola's (Fire-Cooked Pizza - any/all of them are delicious)


DOWNTOWN:
Butcher & The Boar (Meat & Bourbon...nuff said - Long Rib, Brussel Sprouts, Old Fashions, Sausage Sampler)
The Capital Grille (Steakhouse - Filet with Kona Rub)


NORTH LOOP:
Smack Shack (ALAN'S BDAY MEAL - Seafood - Lobster Mac & Cheese, Connecticut Roll)
Bar La Grassa (Italian - Soft Eggs & Lobster, Gnocchi with Cauliflower & Orange) 
Parlour Bar (Just get the burger...no questions)


SAINT PAUL:
Parlour Bar (Again, just get the burger)
Sakura Restaurant & Sushi Bar (Japanese - Best sushi in St. Paul)
Brasa Rotisserie (Southern - Pork Sandwich, Yuca w/ Mojo Sauce)
Cafe Latte (OLD STOMPING GROUNDS FOR BECKY- Chocolate Cake)
Tori Ramen (Ramen - Pork-less, but still excellent)
Pajarito - St. Paul (Mexican - Any of the tacos, Torta, Chilequiles)

THINGS TO DO

City Hot Spots

MINNEAPOLIS SCULPTURE GARDEN:
Walk around the beautiful garden filled with artistic sculptures including the Spoonbridge and Cherry.

STONE ARCH BRIDGE:
Walk North across the Stone Arch Bridge and head over to St. Anthony on Main or walk down to Nicollet Island and get a great view of the river and a beautiful skyline view of downtown Minneapolis.

Open: 24hrs

UPTOWN:
Walk around the chain of lakes (Isles, Calhoun and Harriet) for a lovely 10 miles or just choose one. Each lake is between 1.5 and 3 miles. The people watching is fantastic, and if you like dogs, you'll see many. 


MINNEHAHA REGIONAL PARK:
Located in St. Paul, Minnehaha Regional Park consists of some beautiful sights, including the Minnehaha Falls, Garden and Pavilion. Nestled between them is the Seasalt Eatery, widely sought after for their seafood, wine and beer as well as their outdoor seating in the warmer months. The lines are long but the food and ambiance is worth the wait.
