Our Story
Humberto and Adriana met about 5 years ago at a happy hour after work, where a mutual work friend introduced them. Humberto was quickly interested, but given the age difference, he decided not to make a move. During that time, Humberto and Adriana saw each other, here and there, they had to do some work together, but eventually Adriana left for Madrid and a year later, Humberto left for Charlotte. Four years later, after Humberto and Adriana came back to Puerto Rico, they were both back living in Miramar, a few of blocks away from each other.
After several casual encounters at the supermarket and coffee shop, Adriana was wondering why Humberto wasn't making a move...instead, Humberto as a 5 year younger millennial, used his instagram game with Adriana, and it took him 3 more months to finally ask her out. Their first date was a memorable day, in the peak of the pandemic. They said hi and goodbye to each other with a fist bump (romantic, right?), and that same day Adriana got her first shot of the COVID vaccine. Following his typical, romantic ways, exactly 1 year later, Humberto proposed in a small family gathering, organized by Eisha and Mariela (thank you!) in the mountains of Cayey. And now, here we are. As some say, when you know, you know. From the instagram game, to the coffee date fist bump, to the engagement in Cayey, they always knew.
