It All Started in Brookline
Our story began in Brookline. We only lived a short distance from each other and thankfully matched on Tinder one lonely Sunday. On our first date we went to a local bar and talked for hours, connecting over our love of music and travelling. Since that day we've experienced 8 countries and dozens of concerts together with no end in sight.
The Proposal
For every anniversary we've gone and spent the weekend in Portland, ME. On the first trip Emily wanted to go and visit some lighthouses but it was such a dark and rainy day that after visiting the Portland Headlight we had to call it quits. So on the third anniversary we decided to take the scenic route on the way up, visiting lighthouses, beaches, and cliffs along the coast. For the final stop, I brought Emily back to the Portland Headlight. It was the perfect New England day, sunny with blue skies. When we were done and Emily was ready to get on with the trip, I told her we should take one last photo at the place where we started our anniversary tradition. When she turned around, there I was asking her to spend the rest our lives together. And of course, she said yes!
