Chisom Onyenezi
Maid of Honor aka 'My Right Hand

I met this dazzling queen at the tender age of 1 day, 6 hours, and 22 seconds. She was about to turn 15 months in just 5 days, so I couldn't really tell whether the excitement was for me or her upcoming birthday. And, gosh, was she the epitome of a true 'Ada', and that of the true King, no doubt. She held my heart in the crease of her palms; I would literally wait for anyone to make her bat an eyelid and that was my cue to unleash fury--by the way of a good tongue lashing. As one would imagine, this course of behavior seldom favored me or Adaeze; boarding school 'seniors' knew that my weakness was my sister and thus would persuade her to force me to behave. Adaeze, my kryptonite, is now my powerhouse. Succinctly, it has been nothing short of a grace-filled blessing growing up with this amazing woman, and there is nothing that I would change about it. God knew exactly what He was doing when He made you our Ada, and I can not wait to see what uses you to do in your family. I know that God has blessed this union, and it isn't just because Henry is the best brother in law I could ask for. Sarah

The good thing about this marriage is that you get to marry the love of your life and the BEST thing is you are still in Houston, which means you are still stuck with me FOREVER!
Honestly I don’t remember how we met but all I know is you came into my life and wouldn’t leave. I’m glad you stuck around this long(57 years and counting). Sometimes in life, you find a special someone and then they become your sister. Someone who changes your life just by being part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop. Someone who annoys you and all you want to do is punch them but you can’t.
You have been nothing but an awesome sister and I love you!
Your marriage is blessed simply because you are in it. Have lots of fun with Henry!

Oh where do I begin! Adaeze and I met in our second year in college. Though it seemed to be by chance, it was truly nothing short of a blessing. We had mutual friends, and after one day of hanging out, we were inseparable. At first, I thought she was just very nice when she laughed at every single joke I made. However, I soon learned that she was one of the most genuine and loving people I had ever met. Where one of us was, the other one was sure to be in close proximity. She soon became family to me, and I thank God for us meeting when we did. Through tough times in college we were there for one another. We always reminded each other to trust God's plan for our lives. When tragedy hit my family, she was there for me as I knew she would be. I can not say thank you enough to her for being an exceptional friend and sister. I was very happy to hear about her and Henry. Adaeze has always been someone who thinks of others before she thinks about herself. I am glad that she has been blessed with this happiness in her life, and look forward to celebrating her and Henry. I pray for God's continued provision over their lives, and wish them many beautiful years with one another.

met Adaeze at UTSA through a mutual friend, Zehra. We both went to bible study at her apartment, and eventually exchanged numbers because we were interested in joining an organization... which we never did lol. In our quest to join the organization, we attended many events and ended up spending a lot of time together. She also helped me stay in shape during those four years! She has since become like a sister, pretty much adopting me into her family and culture lol. I’m so happy that God has sent her a man that loves her to the moon and back, and is ready to spend his life and paycheck with her lol! She deserves it all. I love you Adaeze, and may God continue to bless this union!! Amen

Dee aka 'The other Adaeze'

I met Adaeze through a mutual friend named Adaeze, and my name is Adaeze lol
We have a lot of mutual friends, so we are always seeing each other at events. We always had a hard time when the three of us are together because of our names, so we had to make sure people call us by nicknames lol
In 2016, we went to New Orleans for Adaeze’s birthday (Ada’mummy) and that brought us more closer. We have kept in touch with each other and I was there when she got engaged in 2017.
It has been wonderful growing up with Adaeze and now being able to be part of this journey to be with her as she goes from Miss to Mrs. I can not wait to dance, probably cry and praise God on your wedding day! One Adaeze down, two to go lol

I met my dear friend Adaeze at church so long ago, that I can’t even remember when we became friends. It was seamless. I felt and still feel like I have known her forever. She has been a continual fountain of comedy, encouragement, and faith, all of which I appreciate so much. Knowing her has made tough times easier and I couldn’t imagine doing life without this shining star! I am also so incredibly ecstatic that she is marrying someone who loves her greatly and I pray that as this marriage flourishes, God continues to keep them and show His love for them through each other.

I have known my cousin Adaeze longer than most people. We first met in our mothers wombs at our church, CFC. I have the pictures to prove it lol. It has been such a pleasure watching Adaeze grow into the loving, caring & God fearing woman that she is today. You truly deserve every blessing that comes your way. Henry, thank you for graciously stepping into Adaeze’s life and elevating her beyond her wildest dreams. I’ve never seen her happier! This is an amazing start to your union. It is an honor to be apart of your big day. Love you guys!

Wow! A lot of fun memories flying throughout my brains. I first met this angel at a hair store...yes a hair store... I'm sure people who know me would be wondering what a woman with no hair would be doing at a hair store. I went with my friend Adaora to buy some hair products and this young beautiful, shy lady walks in with her charming smile and says " good afternoon aunty "(with the tinniest voice I ever heard) and I immediately asked my friend who she was and she said "oh she's my cousin" I was stunned considering the fact that young people in this part of the world hardly greet the way she did, they rather say "hi" and keep walking. This young lady exudes respect! A lady with a heart of gold, selfless and caring.
Adaeze is everywhere in my house is soo sickening! There's always something from her everywhere In my house. In my closet, my jewelry box, my shoe collections, my makeup kit...name it, her thumb print is everywhere. She remembers everyone's birthday and she never visits anyone’s house empty handed on these special occasions, she always had one gift or the other. Many would say, oh well she is a nurse so she can afford to buy things for the whole world...not at all, she was still a student at the time but no matter how small the gifts may seem, they all had meaningful memories.
I have known "Daisy Breezy" (as I fondly call her) for 6 years but it feels like I’ve known her forever just like my baby sister. When she told me she found the one, at first I was a bit skeptical and very jealous thinking to myself who is this person trying to take away our precious jewel from us and I'm sure a lot of people thought the same too… but then I met Henry and I too fell in love with him and at that instant I knew she made the right choice and he, the luckiest man alive!
Daisy Breezy, with all the words in 1 Corinthians 13:4, I wish you a life filled with love, joy, happiness, laughter and friendship.

I have known Adaeze for many years. I was fortunate to meet her through a dear friend of mine and over the years, she has become a baby sister to me.
My dear, as you get ready to say I do, just wanted to take a minute to say best wishes. I pray that God will bless your marriage. May it be filled with love and happiness. I know you will be a loving and support wife.
Congratulations Henry! You are indeed a lucky man and I know you will love and cherish our girl.
I'm honored to be a part of your special day and can't wait to celebrate your day with you!
