Who knew that on August 29th, 2009 I'd walk into homeroom and meet my soulmate. Back then, both of us had just turned 14, and when Thomas walked in wearing a green "ITALY" shirt and long Justin Bieber hair it was game over. I leaned over to my friend at the time and whispered "that's the guy I'm going to marry".
About a week later, I was sitting in the back of the classroom and he so "cool and casually" grabbed the chair from across from me and asked if he could sit there. I stuttered and said yes. That day he drew me a rose...yes, I still have it.
A year went by and I left high school, came back...and on March 19th, 2011 after a couple of our friends convinced us to text back and forth we realized there was something there. The rest is history. From trips to Canada to graduating together, getting our driver's licenses, getting careers, getting engaged, moving into our first home, and adopting our own little family...we have come so far.
