Nashville Guide
Restaurants
1. Assembly Food Hall is a concept that includes a far above average food court including some of Nashville's most famous places. This is a great spot for groups and meet ups which includes live music and bars too. We highly, highly recommend checking this out for at least one of your meals. We have found ourselves here multiple times in one trip, sometimes even the same day because of all the options!
2. Merchants is a three-story restaurant (with reservations available on OpenTable) located right on Broadway and has been there since the 1890's! The lower level is a diner, with the upper levels offering other menus.
3. Hattie B's Famous Hot Chicken has a location directly across Broadway from Bridgestone Arena. Expect to wait in a bit of a line!
4. Eddie V's is a nicer restaurant with a tremendous location right on Broadway!
5. Pancho & Lefty's is a Mexican restaurant right on Broadway that is a sister restaurant to some of Nashville's most famous BBQ.
6. Corner Pub is another option we have enjoyed not far from the Broadway area.
7. There are tons of other great food options in Nashville, these are just some we have enjoyed near the main Broadway strip.
Nightlife
1. Lower Broadway including famous bars like Tootsie's and our personal favorites like Jason Aldean's Rooftop, Blake Shelton's Ole Red, and of course Kid Rock's World Famous Honky Tonk. You really can't go wrong at any of the bars on Broadway as there are tons of options. This is the main place to be with all the levels of live music!
2. Printer's Alley is a famous strip of bars just north of the Broadway strip.
3. Second Ave walking north from Broadway offers a few additional bars that have similar vibes but perhaps a little less of a crowd.
4. Winners and Losers Bar & Grill (two different bars next door to one another) located towards Vanderbilt provides a non-Broadway atmosphere.
Other Things to Check Out
1. The Ryman Auditorium is located right near Assembly Food Hall.
2. Music Row Happy Hour occurs at Margaritaville on Broadway every Friday.
3. Country Music Hall of Fame
4. Grand Ole Opry
5. Johnny Cash Museum
6. "The Gulch" area offering shopping and restaurants.
Our wedding venue is less than 10 minutes north of Nashville International Airport, and about 15 minutes east of the famous Broadway strip with all of the popular bars and restaurants.
We generally recommend that our guests stay near Broadway and Uber or Taxi (parking is also available) to our venue the day-of.
Nashville has many great Air BnB's near Broadway, and we recommend friends and family to explore this option. Alternatively, we have three hotel blocks arranged near Broadway. Due to all three of these hotels having limited blocking capacity, if you are preferring to chose this option we recommend booking sooner rather than later. Should any of these fill, you can always book outside of the block.
Lastly, if you want to avoid the busyness of Broadway, the hotels near the Nashville International Airport are a good option based on proximity to the venue.
If you have any questions about locations or areas, please reach out to Abby or Anthony. Hotel blocks will be closed one month prior.
